Michael Bryan Photography is a trip based photography site. I plan to take trips everywhere, including my new home state of New York and capture it in photos.
Scroll to Tell a Story
The interactive homepage allows the user to scroll from top to bottom of the most recent trips and link off of it onto the appropriate page. Each trip is captured by a single image, a headline and a date.
Trip Timeline
The portfolio of this particular photography site is presented in the fashion of a timeline — so it reflects upon the date that the trip was taken.
Trip Portfolio Item
Each portfolio item or in this case trip, is shown with a satellite overview image of the location the images were captured and also a lightbox gallery of all the photos taken. A lightbox gallery simply put means when you click an image, it is presented front and center and fills most of the visitors viewing area, allowing them to navigate left or right through the images in a carousel fashion.
