mbTunes is a private website project for streaming music anywhere on the go for myself. Built with Bootstrap, jQuery, PHP and managed by a MySQL database it is a fully functional audio player website with the ability to upload multiple audio files at once, create playlists, customize the audio player interface and administrate all new additions.
Anywhere at Anytime
Designed on the Bootstrap CSS Framework allows for a fully responsive environment to view, browse and play music files from anywhere. Being fully responsive allows all devices to achieve the same functionality, so no matter what device you browse on (mobile device, tablet or laptop/desktop) you will be guaranteed to have a similar experience.
In-depth Album Browser
Want to search by an artist's name? or browse by genre? This music website allows you to do so. When you use either criteria to search, the results are populated for each one with matching albums.
The Waves of Music
The most important part of a music website would be the audio player itself; this music website has two audio players to select from. Both feature the ability to view the album artwork, full track listing for either the album or playlist, control volume and to skip/randomize the music. The first is a simple player that the user can control numerous color variables and effectively make a whole new player for themselves. The second is a more aesthetically advanced player that features selectable waveform diagrams.
